Today, 2nd June 2008 had become one of the most meaningful day for Mr. & Mrs Adrian Khoo as this was the day when they walk into the church and promise each other with their sweet solemn vows..
(Mr. Adrian Khoo is ahkhen's brother-in-law while the Mrs. Adrian Khoo is ahkhen's eldest sister)

The newly-wed planned to have their wedding dinner separately where the bride's family will be having it on 1st June while the groom on 2nd June.

My family and I was first invited to the bride's "hoi mun chu" on 31st May. Then, the next day was the bride and her family to invite their relatives and friends to join them for dinner at SRC.
Of course, i was there! I am sitting with ahkhen, his sis & bf and some relatives which i dont really know.(and seldom meet).
Everything goes well for the night...
Not forgetting, Im one of the camera girl for the whole occasion..
The dinner ended quite early around 9pm.
The food was scrumptious! We usually say the dishes were "thick"!

The next day, TODAY!! THE WEDDING DAY!!
Early morning 6.30am i got up and prepare myself to the bride's house.
Ahkhen came to fetch me at around 7.30am.
When i arrived at the bride's house, everyone is getting ready too! especially the bride!
Her beautician is still busy with her most stunning and gorgeous make up and also the hair-do!
And few of us, as the "ji mui"- sister..
were busy preparing ingredients to fool the groom when he come to pick his beautiful bride..

8.15am SHARP, we heard the car horn all the way into the bride's house..
and everyone got excited and said: "The groom is coming! Hide the bride!"
In tradition, chinese people used to play the groom before he got his beloved potential wife..
We did what chinese people did..
We did not play much..
first, we ask the groom to recognise the bride's lip from the paper which was fully stamped with many lips of different ladies.
guess what?? He asked the relatives help to see.. Im wonder who is the one who kiss the bride.. Him right? why does he seek the relatives help?
AHAHAHA!! nvm.. anyway.. they got it all wrongly..

Next we asked the groom to recite a love note prepared by the "ji mui" which is very "yuk ma".
We want the bride to listen to each and every word her groom said where he had to shout from outside the house till the bride can hear at her room which is upstairs..
The funniest part was, when the groom say "Muacks~!"
with the facial expression..
i can only describe it with one word.. FUNNY!

The elderly started to stop us from playing too long avoid any delay..
So at last the groom got his bride!!
Then, we headed to church where the ceremony started at 9.30am
Then we move to Beauty Bride to take group photo..
(this is where i got my time to have a drink.. Pudding nai cha)
Next, we went to the groom's house.
Then, tea ceremony..
Then... everyone went home and rest..
While ahkhen elder sister and I stay at the groom house to help the bride to take off all the necklace, bracelets, rings that she got from the elders..
And we chit chat for about 2 hours then we leave..

Tonight, I do not need to attend the dinner for the groom.
But tomorrow night we will go to SRC to eat the same thing again because some of the bride's colleague were absent on Sunday's night..
